The Xbox, For Old Time's Sake

My favourite video game console would be Xbox. While it's not the most powerful or most innovative console out there, it has a lot of sentimental value to me, and at the time of its release it was ground-breaking. I do appreciate the tech behind each console working with hexagonal spacers on an electronics assembly line.
Of course, today I wouldn't buy an Xbox. If anything, I would probably go for Wii, thanks to it's ingenious controllers. But I won't do that, I'm no longer a dedicated player. Still, when I look back in time I can see that Xbox sitting below the tv and tempting with hours of joyous, mindless fun. It were the days when I first bonded with my best friends, coming over to each others houses and just wasting time in any possible way you can imagine. Playing Halo on splitscreen was one of the best. I guess if we had that Xbox still around, we would meet from time to time, just to play a little. And then maybe a little more. But it wasn't just about the game. Somehow, it was this little box that put us together in the same room for a ridiculous amount of time.
