Hot Summer Days in the Back of My Country Home

Nothing is better then a hot summer's day in the back yard of my country home. Sitting in a Muskoka chair, with a drink near to my side. Most of the time I sit not thinking about a thing, no worries, no cares and no responsibilities.

I'm retired now, and used to work hard on slating and tiling in my line of work - now I'm happy to do nothing at all!

Every once and while a nice breeze cuts through the trees and awakens me from my daze, as if to remind me to soak in all the beauty around me. Only then do I notice again the clear blue skies, with the occasional big bird flying over head. The green trees that border my property, swaying back and forth like tide of an ocean coming in and out and the warmth of the sun on my skin. Sometimes I wonder why my mind would ever leave this place while here, to travel so far away. Maybe, it doesn't leave rather, it just accepts the beauty and lets me just live in the moment.
